Dr. Yaşar ATACIK

Dr. Yasar Atacik has accumulated experience in a wide spectrum of fields including, finance, technological innovation, project management, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation, and reorganization.

As the Chairperson of Sabanci Holding SATEK Technology Committee, Dr. Atacik has led initiatives for strategy and technology development for value creation, effective use of R&D and technology in operations, integration of group technologies, and cross-pollenation within the Sabanci Group.

Dr. Atacik was previously the Strategy and Business Development Director of the Chemicals, Foreign Trade and Cement Group of Sabanci Holding. Yasar Atacık was concurrently a Board Member of Yunsa and Advansa companies. He has also undertaken a key role in dealings of the Sabanci Group with the DuPont Company.
